The disparity between the stock prices of Sharia-compliant banks and those of conventional banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) presents an intriguing phenomenon for academic inquiry. This research aims to examine and analyze the influence of risk profile and the sharia maqashid index on stock prices, with financial distress as a mediating variable in Sharia banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This research applies a quantitative approach. The population and sample of this study consist of all Sharia banks listed on the IDX from 2021 to 2023. The sample is selected using a saturated sampling technique. The analytical methods applied in this study include panel data analysis and path analysis. The findings indicate that: (1) the risk profile has a negative effect on stock prices, (2) the sharia maqashid index has no effect on stock prices, (3) financial distress has a positive effect on stock prices, (4) financial distress does not mediate the relationship between the risk profile and stock prices, and (5) financial distress does not mediate the relationship between the sharia maqashid index and stock prices.
